To play the music you hear on the radio legally on your podcast you need permission from

  • The Songwriter
  • The Song Performer
  • Whoever owns the Mechanical Rights

Royalty Free Music

Royalty-free music means you pay once for the rights to the music and you can play it as many times as you want (typically) you should always read the small print.

Here is a list of websites where you can find music.

You can save some money looking for "Logos" (shorter snippets of songs) or transitions that will be less expensive than buying a full songe.
